 Parish Announcements for Sunday, November 29th, 2015

Holy Mass: please note coming Sunday, December 6th 9:45 mass will be in Malayalam and December 13th and December 20th will be in English due to youth retreat.

First Friday Adoration: Please note Tomorrow, December 4th is first Friday, we will have full night adoration. It will start after the 7:30 holy mass and St. Jude Novena and will end Saturday morning 6:00 AM with holy mass. Everyone, please plan to attend.

Advent: The advent started last Sunday as we prepare for the coming of the Lord.

 

Retreat: The Sehion Youth Retreat Registration forms and Parent Consent forms were emailed to all students 7th Grade and above. They are expected to be participating in the retreat. Please give the completed forms to your teachers. The retreat is scheduled for Dec. 11, 12 &13.

 

Safe Environment: All new teachers, volunteers and parents who work with our children in the parish are required to attend “Safe Environment Policies” session as per the Diocese guidelines. A crash course designed by the Diocese is scheduled for next Sunday Dec. 6th 1:30 PM. As it is a mandatory requirement, please plan to attend, if you have not already done so.  

 

Church Calendar: We released our 2016 church calendar last Sunday. Thanks to all the sponsors for sponsoring each month. Special thanks to Justin Joseph for leading the calendar initiative.

 

Christmas Caroling: We will be starting our Christmas caroling from coming Saturday, December 5th. Lego Joseph and Josemon Joseph will be coordinating this year’s Christmas caroling. We appreciate your help and support as always.

Thanksgiving Dinner: The youth held their annual Potluck Thanksgiving Dinner.  Thanks to all youth for your great participation. Special thanks to the youth leads for coordinating the dinner. 

Volunteer Work: Thanks to all the volunteers for helping to install the crucifix in the side altar and Jesus above the porch. Special thanks to James Puthumana, Stephen Inasu and Thomas Nirappel for coordinating the work.

Bishop Appeal: The 2015 bishop appeal letter from our diocese has been sent out. We will be collecting your contributions on Sunday, December 13th. We thank you for your support.

Pledge Collections: Our expected average weekly pledge collection is $9345. Last week our pledge collection was $ 7785. Please catch up with your pledge, Onetime and sponsorship payments. Thank you for your contributions and support.
